These currant seeds were collected from Pink Champagne, a Ribes rubrum cultivar whose translucent pink berries are mild and sweet, with a subtle tartness. The fruit shown in the photographs is from the parent cultivar.
Seedlings will vary and are not clonal Pink Champagne plants. Pink fruit is not guaranteed. We use the same 3 to 4 month cold stratification guidance as our other Ribes rubrum seed; this is a nursery protocol, not a germination test for this lot.
